CEO

Henrik Jakobsson

A media entrepreneur and music producer that brings a unique blend of talents to his all his endeavors. Driven by his strong interest in cultural diversity, he constantly pursues new ways of bridging the gaps between languages and people thru media and art. With over 20 years of experience in film, television, games and commercials both from Europe and in the US. He has won multiple awards and some of his music is featured in the Paramount Picture release: “GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra”. Henrik holds a master in psychology and cultural anthropology from the university of Stockholm, and in 1997, he spent 1,5 years in West Africa deepening his knowledge and understanding of this fascinating continent.

FILM DIRECTOR

Sam Crawford

LA-based writer/director Sam Crawford leaped into the film business after making early strides in NY art world. Crawford entered the film business as an editor but quickly segued into directing, acting as Director/DP and editor.Crawford has helmed spots for ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Capital One, the Atlanta Hawks, Church’s Chicken, Verizon, Samsung, Domtar Paper and Fox Sports, among others. The tone and style of each is as different as the clients themselves, but every spot has its roots in real human scenarios. Crawford’s work is internationally acclaimed, receiving numerous awards from top advertising competitions such as The Cannes Lions, The One Show and The Clios.

Disruptive new media creative and brand strategist for Fortune 500 companies, agencies and non-profits. Founding creative director of Skype, MTV nominated writer, pioneer in interactive 3D for web and creative engineer in augmented reality technology.  Her independent films have screened in international museums and film festivals.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Martin Devis

Martin Devis joined Lingoalta in October of 2014, he previously was with TELEPOOL GmbH, one of the largest film and TV distribution companies in German Speaking Europe, where he worked as an acquisition and sales executive.  Mr. Devis has been in the international film distribution business for nearly 10 years, having worked in Madrid, Munich, Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles.  He is fluent in four languages.

FILM DIRECTOR

Doug McCann

Doug has worked for over a decade on various projects and productions in film and television. He is an award winning filmmaker and was nominated for an emmy for his work as a camera operator/field producer for Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch. He has spent months at a time in inspiring locales such as remote Alaska, the mountains of Africa, Iceland, New Zealand, Polynesia, and many colorful places in between. His work has been seen on platforms such as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Fox, and a multitude of online outlets and international film festivals. He is a writer and musician, and hobbies include songwriting, anything DIY, and pickling. Summertime he spends commercial fishing salmon in Bristol Bay, Alaska and in the winter he lives for the forest and the snow.
